Commercial Space Design

EP Engineering provided MEP design for the conversion of the basement storage area of a 60 unit apartment building into 2 pre-built commercial spaces. The total area of the commercial space design was 4,000 square feet. The design included split AC systems, a radiant heating system, electrical distribution, upgrading of existing electrical service, and plumbing for new bathrooms. The most challenging aspect of this project was relocating all of the existing building’s piping in the basement to allow for a usable space layout. Over 3,000 feet of piping was traced and relocated for the commercial space design. This project is currently under construction.
