Project Description: Gut renovation of existing historic mansion. New interior spaces include a library, gymnasium, billiards room, multiple family and dining rooms and sleeping areas for residents, guests and staff.

Size: 10,000 square feet

Challenge: Provide high end air conditioning systems for (21) different zones inside an existing historic structure.

Achievements: All (21) air conditioning units were located in the basement or in the attic and ductwork was meticulously coordinated inside walls and joist spaces to minimize interruption of existing aesthetics. To minimize condensers, VRV systems were used with multiple air handlers served by one condenser. Radiant floors were designed for basement and first floor spaces to optimize zone comfort control.
