One International Place Advanced Commissioning (LEED), Confidential financial client - Boston, MA
Location: One International Place, Boston, MA 02110
Project Description: New office floor with a trading area and computer room. Performed enhanced LEED Commissioning as part of the LEED certification process. Installed a new single module UPS system to provide power to the trading desks and the IT equipment in the computer room. Installed two new air conditioning units for dedicated redundant cooling. Completed peer review of the design engineer’s contract documents.
Size: 15,000 square feet
Challenge: There were limited building services available for the new build-out. Comprehensive control sequences had to be vetted and tested in order to meet the clients expectations. Created a detailed commissioning schedule and coordinated with the construction team in order to start up and then commission key equipment to meet the client’s dates.
Achievements: All critical equipment, including the UPS, STS, ATS, PDU’s and AC units, was tested and commissioned prior to the IT deployment date. The HVAC system was thoroughly tested, and its ability to provide 100% OA cooling was confirmed. |
