Project Description: Gut renovation of existing restaurant for new, high-end fast food vegetarian restaurant.
Size: 2,000 square feet
Challenge: The existing cellar had limited space for new equipment, which included a new water/sprinkler service, gas service, grease trap, boiler, and hot water heater. The cellar also served adjacent buildings, so there were many existing conditions which could not be interrupted or relocated. Achievements: Through tight coordination with the design and construction team, the engineering team managed to install all new equipment in the cellar without any disruption to the existing systems. The project was delivered within budget and the opening date for the restaurant achieved. |
