USS Intrepid, new york NY

Project Description: Contribute to refitting the USS Intrepid by upgrading the plumbing, electrical, and ventilation systems in seven of the staff bathrooms on the existing ship.

Size: 1,500 square feet

Challenges: Routing ductwork through tight spaces on the ship. Learning different codes that apply to the ship, instead of typical land facilities.

Achievements: Performed an extensive survey of existing conditions to find proper terminations for new toilet exhaust systems.
