Multiple Library Branch Updates

EP Engineering is the lead MEP engineer on a series of projects with the Queens Libraries. The Queens Borough Public Libraries have developed an initiative to renovate all 63 branches in their system in order to incorporate a new Customer Service Module (CSM). The CSM upgrades include complete technology upgrades and the introduction of Radio Frequency ID (RFID) technology to scan and identify books and other media. Twelve branches have been renovated to date. EP Engineering has been responsible for the management and design of HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and technology upgrades associated with the CSM roll-outs. We have also been contracted to provide daily on-call MEP engineering services for the entire group of buildings. The Queens Library projects are ongoing.
